Overview :
The Red Bank Public Library is seeking qualified and tech-savvy part-time Digital Literacy Instructors to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable instruction to adults, young adults, and children, equipping them with essential digital skills through our Eisner Opportunity Lab.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and Educate : Craft training sessions that are informative, engaging, and fun for adults and kids alike.
- Empower Job-Seekers : Provide essential assistance to job-seekers, including resume development, mock interviews, and guidance on utilizing workforce development resources.
- Troubleshoot Tech Issues : Be the go-to person for resolving basic technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate and organized records in accordance with established protocols.
- Circulation and Reference Desk : Provide support at the circulation and reference desks as needed, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for patrons.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
Flexible hours at $18.95 / hr working 15-20 hours per week, including evenings and a Saturday rotation.
