Job Title: Advisor Support Specialist
Location: East Providence, RI
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility)
Job Summary:
Libre Advisor Network (www.libreadvisor.com) seeks an Advisor Support Specialist to assist our growing organization with business processing, account servicing, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will serve as our financial advisors' first point of contact and assist with generating account paperwork for new and existing client accounts. This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and requires a strong focus on organization, communication, and the ability to learn new things efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
Advisor Support & Communication
Serve as our advisors' primary point of contact, handling inquiries via phone, email, and our in-house communication platform. Assist advisors with opening and servicing client accounts, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up.
Business Processing
Assist our Director of New Business with paperwork generation, account servicing, and maintaining the status of open items.
Quality Control & Compliance:
Review and ensure all paperwork, policies, and procedures comply with financial and compliance standards.
Administrative Duties:
Answering phones and performing light office management tasks, including ordering and restocking office supplies.
Team Collaboration
Serve as a liaison with our advisors and their staff in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
Marketing Support
Approximately 10-20% of your time may be spent assisting other team members and advisors with their marketing initiatives.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
Approximately two to four years of professional experience in financial services or a similar industry (such as medical records administration in the healthcare industry).
Skills and Competencies:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Must be a motivated self-starter, resourceful, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our advisors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and/or Google Workspace. Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) is a plus. We provide training on industry-specific or proprietary software and the software in our tech stack.
Additional Requirements:
- Approximately 15-20% travel may be required periodically.
- You must be able to pass an FBI background check and the Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI)
