The Job: The main function of the data engineer is to develop and maintain data processing software. A typical data engineer is responsible for creating data infrastructure, running tests, and updating systems.
The Essentials:
- Min. 8 years of experience
- Experience in developing logical/physical models for operational systems, data warehouses and data marts.
- Experience working with large data sets and big data data pipelines and architectures.
- Experience in database administration and impact analysis of data structure changes.
- Knowledge of AWS and SQL technologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
