Head Lice Removal Technician (Part-time/ On Call)

Looking to pick up some extra hours? Lice Lifters, a premier head lice removal company, is looking for on-call Head Lice Removal Technicians to work at our lice treatment center in Davie, FL. This is a part-time position, and the successful candidates will come in as needed to support high customer demand. Training will be provided.

The compensation is $17/hr. plus tips.

Job Details

• Performing head checks and treating head lice
• Educating families on lice care removal and follow-up treatment.
• Clean-up work area after treatment.
• Business hours: Monday - Saturday: 9 AM - 9 PM; Sundays: 11 AM - 9 PM.
• Shifts: Morning: 9 AM - 1 PM; Afternoon 1 PM - 5 PM; Evening: 6 PM - 9 PM.

Requirements

• High energy, people person with a very positive attitude.
• Must be a team player
• Cannot be squeamish in any way and must be comfortable with bugs
• Standing long periods
• Attention to detail - technicians are expected to remove all lice on the first visit
• Calm, friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience with children, including children with special needs. Preferred, but not required
• Work in various environments with people from all walks of life, including children, parents, and business professionals
• Must have high patience level, and the ability to work with very stressed-out people
• Strong communication skills - to educate clients to complete the follow-up treatment plan and prevent further head lice infestations
• Basic sales - sell lice care follow-up treatment kits to clients
• Comsetology experience a plus, but not required
• Retail experience a plus, but not required
• Undergo a background check
