Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals, particularly children, with behavioral challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and the ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to enhance the quality of life for clients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and share insights on behavioral health.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine the needs of clients and recommend appropriate services.

Skills

  • Proficient in applied behavior analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in special education practices and principles.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Understanding of behavioral health concepts and their application in clinical settings.
  • Strong skills in medical terminology relevant to patient care documentation.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral challenges.
  • Ability to conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.
