Job Description and responsibilities :
Proficient in AutoCAD 2024 . (LT version)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word & Excel
Capable of Generating piping drawings from hand drawn diagrams
Capable of Preparing plan and elevation piping drawings, and isometric
piping drawings Gather field data using scanning technologies and
taking measurements to support project design.
Capable of Generating equipment arrangement plans and elevation drawings
Capable of Preparing design drawings for structural supports for specialty
equipment like wall hung HVAC units.
Capable of developing drafting schematics, control panel layouts, and
electrical breaker cabinet layouts
Capable of Wiring diagrams, power distribution, safety, and security system
drawings
Capable of Creating “stick” diagrams for security cameras, overhead lighting
fixtures .and switches, etc.
Capable of other types electrical drawings for automated material handling
and package moving systems.
Capable of drafting Low voltage electrical, security, and communications
systems.
Capable of drafting, card readers, motion detectors, Wi-Fi hotspots, data
drops, microphone jacks, speakers and sound systems, clocks, smoke
detectors, smoke alarm horns, and wall telephone jacks in schools churches
Capable of drafting HVAC dwg.s regarding duct work placement, RTU’s and
diagrams.
Capable of drafting plumbing drawings from hand drawn schematics.
Capable of assembling Bid packages for contractors and subcontractors for
work in new facilities, and remodel locations.
Capable of Converting / scan hard copies to AutoCad files.
Capable of Converting AutoCad files to pdf’s.
Capable of putting site plans layouts on or overlay aerial photos.
Capable of receiving & filing arch., civil, and utility drawings.
Capable of maintaining and updating "as built “drawings
Capable of drawing preliminary layouts i.e. parking lots and truck driving
areas around a bldg.
Capable of coordinating with field personnel to verify design intent.
Cap[able of searching info needed on lojic.org.
Capable of working with a variety of architects., civil, electrical., hvac,
plumbing, property mgmt. to draft required projects as needed.
Capable of coordinating ceiling grid, reflective ceiling plans, lighting,
data, hvac, and plumbing from contractor sketches.
