Position Overview:
Lichten & Liss-Riordan, P.C., a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ side law firm, located in Boston’s Back Bay, is seeking a full-time experienced paralegal to assist with the firm’s fast-paced practice representing workers in wage and hour class action and other employment matters. This position requires outstanding phone skills, the ability to analyze and work with data in large Excel database records, and exceptional attention to detail. This is a hybrid position and in office time is required. Candidate must be flexible to work overtime and to assist in special projects when needed; must be able to work under pressure and handle stress. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:
- Assist attorneys in litigation of class action wage and hour cases, including interacting with clients and class members by phone and email, gathering and organizing information for pretrial and trial purposes, reviewing and organizing document production.
- Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of data relevant to legal cases in Excel and other databases.
- Assist in drafting discovery documents and responses (interrogatories, document production, requests for admissions).
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trial dates, and manage attorney calendars.
- Speak with clients and class members in a professional and polite manner.
- Possess the ability to concentrate and be flexible with diverse tasks in a consistent and orderly manner in a fast-paced environment.
- General administrative support tasks, including organizing litigation binders and phone coverage.
- Proven experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key insights.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
