We are rapidly expanding and looking for outgoing, happy, responsible, and positive individuals who love ice cream as much as we do to join our ice cream shop family!
Key Responsibilities
Business & Financial Management
- Oversee P&L, sales, labor, and expenses to maximize profitability.
- Productively collaborate and communicate with other internal departments such as
- Marketing, Production, Wholesale, and Finance.
- Identify revenue growth opportunities while controlling costs to improve margins.
- Analyze performance reports, track KPIs, and implement operational improvements.
- Manage cash handling, banking, inventory costs, and expense tracking.
Vendor & Inventory Management
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure cost efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, adjusting orders to meet demand while reducing waste.
- Ensure all supplies and products align with brand standards.
Operations & Facilities Oversight
- Ensure smooth daily operations, from opening to closing procedures.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues and coordinating repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
Leadership & Staff Development
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage staff scheduling to balance labor costs and business needs.
- Set clear expectations, provide performance feedback, and conduct evaluations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Customer & Brand Management
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming guest experience.
- Address customer concerns and implement service improvements.
- Represent and uphold brand values in all aspects of service, product presentation, and engagement.
- Engage with the community and local businesses to enhance brand presence and drive revenue.
- Utilize marketing tools and POS to drive in store promotions, increasing revenue and loyalty.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality.
- Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, vendor relations, and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and financial reporting systems.
- Strong communication and team-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Current State Food Manager Certification registered with the city.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) on concrete flooring.
- Perform repetitive tasks involving arms, hands, and wrists.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
