CUSTODIAN- PART TIME 25 HOURS PER WEEK 1PM-6PM MON-FRI
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility at 1058 E Main St and 123 S 3rd St.,
to ensure the buildings are tidy, clean and well-maintained for our clients and customers.
Personal & Professional Attributes: Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, and understanding of the needs of older, impoverished, and developmentally disabled individuals; display common sense and good judgment and actively promote LCAP to the public. Uphold the highest level of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity, always representing the organization positively and professionally.
Core Technology Competencies: Demonstrated working knowledge of computer operations and standard office equipment (copiers, faxes, etc.) and must be able to utilize all Microsoft Office services.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Prefer high school graduate or equivalent.
- Relevant experience is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties: Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
· Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring.
· Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
· Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
· Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
· Empty all trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary.
· Cleaning windowsills and windows.
· Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
· Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
· Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals.
· Always Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
· Restock the vending machine.
· Operating buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums.
· Setting up rooms for activities and events.
· Closing the building and ensuring doors and gates are locked and the system is armed.
· General maintenance of grounds includes snow removal.
· Perform other related duties as needed or as assigned.

Maintain predictable and regular attendance, work stated hours, communicate, comprehend, and follow policies and procedures, and develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff. Must be able to perform all job responsibilities satisfactorily and meet the same job title’s physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver’s License and the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request).
