Description
Job Title: Meal Delivery Driver- East Village Route - PT - 10 hours per week
Reports To: Operations Director
Job Classification: Full-Time or Part Time; Flex, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $13.50-$19.00 (dependent on previous experience)
Job Summary: Transport meals to assigned clients; complete route list and daily report as required; properly care for, clean, and return equipment as required.

Core Technology Competencies: Must be able to use a tablet for work purposes; read GPS, and be able to complete all necessary paperwork.
Essential Duties:
· Transport meals to assigned clients
· Complete route list and daily report as required
· Properly care for, clean, and return equipment as required.
· Count and turn in contributions as required.
· Assist in kitchen with packaging of hot and cold food items as required.
· Use electronic thermometer to record meal temperatures.
· Keep agency vehicles, delivery bags and other equipment clean at all times.
· Must understand and communicate the mission of the Licking County Aging Program's Senior Nutrition Program and abide by established guidelines.
· Ability to satisfactorily perform all job responsibilities and meet the physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver’s License, as well as the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request).

Requirements
General Requirements:
· Previous work with the elderly helpful.
· Must follow state and local health department guidelines which apply to the job.
· Must be in good physical health, good personal hygiene and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Attend trainings as scheduled.
· Valid Ohio Driver’s License is required. Employees are required to carry at least the State minimum (for Ohio) auto insurance coverage and be able to provide proof upon request. When using a personal vehicle for work-related purposes, employees must ensure that their own auto insurance provides primary coverage in the event of any incident.
· Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Dependable transportation for meal delivery required. Personal vehicle must be kept clean since being used for food delivery. Must be at least 25 years of age for liability insurance purposes if driving a company vehicle. Two years driving experience required. No major convictions in last five years.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Previous delivery and/or driving experience preferred.
· Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

· May require standing for more than one hour, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting and reaching above your head, good range of motion.
· Good manual dexterity, and coordination, stair climbing, and climbing in and out of a vehicle.
· May also be exposed to adverse climatic conditions both inside the client homes and outside.
Salary : $14 - $19
