Job Classification: Full-Time 40 hours – 2 Positions
Part Time 20 hours- 1 Position
Salary Range: $15.00-$21.60 per hour
Job Summary: Responsible for various duties that may change within the same day, including assisting clients in the Adult Day Center, driving a route for home delivered meals, providing office assistance, and providing care to various clients in the absence of previously scheduled personal care aide. This position is intended to fill in throughout the agency as needed, mostly focusing on providing assistance to clients with activities of daily living.

- May require standing for more than one hour, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting and reaching above your head, good range of motion.
- Good manual dexterity, and coordination, stair climbing, and climbing in and out of a vehicle.
- May also be exposed to adverse climatic conditions both inside the client homes and outside.

Requirements
General Requirements: Commitment and desire to provide excellent service to all clients and aging community members, including those with physical and intellectual disabilities. Maintain predictable and regular attendance, work stated hours, communicate, comprehend and follow company and Day Center policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff. Willing and able to maintain continual yearly educational requirements (CEU’s). Ability to satisfactorily perform all job responsibilities and meet the physical requirements. All employees must possess and maintain a Valid Ohio Driver’s License, as well as the minimum auto insurance coverage for Ohio (must be able to provide proof upon request). When using your personal vehicle for work-related purposes, you are required to maintain valid insurance, and your personal insurance will be considered the primary coverage in the event of any incident.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year of caregiving and/or home health experience.
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Essential Duties:
· Demonstrate effective communication strategies and skills, in order to respond to the needs, desires, and interests of all clients.
· Exhibit care, compassion, and patience at all times.
· Daily documentation and data entry to maintain client records/attendance/occurrences.
· Assist clients with meal preparation, use of commode or bedpan, changing linens and incidental household duties essential to client’s health needs and companionship.
· Assist client in following physician’s orders regarding medication, exercises, and prescribed procedures.
· Ability to adjust to many different assignments within one day.
· Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $15 - $22
