Position Summary

Under the direction of the Infection Prevention Manager, the administrative assistant will serve as clerical support to Infection Prevention. They will perform their tasks with minimal supervision and work collaboratively with the Infection Prevention team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that information sent via fax is timely with confirmation of receipt.
• Scan information into the electronic medical record
• Make follow up phone calls as appropriate.
• Performs a variety of quality audits with accuracy
• Coordinate the Intelligent Observation Hand Hygiene monitoring system employee badging process
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Customer service oriented
• Previous healthcare experience required as well as medical terminology
• Must be detailed oriented
• Ability to work with multiple disciplines
• Ability to use a computer
• Microsoft Office proficient
