Position Summary:
Performs a variety of donor management tasks and administrative duties for the Development Department.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains donor management software, runs queries and prepares various reports
- Prepares and tracks all donor correspondence
- Posts contributions and funds for the department
- Document control
- Coordinates all aspects of employee giving program
- Maintains, organizes, and tracks inventory of supplies in storage area
- Collects and reports data
- Coordinates giving campaigns
- Creates, maintains, and manages multiple databases, to include preparation of mailing lists and mail program audits for several groups
- Coordinates Cradle Roll and Paving Our Future programs, including processing gifts, ordering items, and maintaining inventory
- Assists with department events as needed
- Evenings, mornings, weekends, occasional 12-hour days
- Assists with maintaining department dashboard
- Writes process documents as needed
- Answers telephone and follows through with assisting customers, transfers, or recording messages
- Completes all WebEd requirements as assigned
- Ensures that personal performance reflects the Mission, Vision and Standards of Behavior and Departmental Goals
- Provides coverage for other staff as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum requirement, two years of experience and high school diploma/GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Advanced computer skills
- Prioritize and organize work effectively
- Exercise discretion, judgment and initiative
- Ability to work independently
