Position Summary
Using LMHS vehicle, provides lab specimen pickup, mail delivery, medical waste removal from offsite locations and delivery of other LMHS items. Occasional delivery to outside of 45 miles to other health systems.
Daily Tasks
- Pickup of scheduled and STAT lab specimens from offsite locations
- Maintain vehicle checks; record all runs for benchmarks
- Complete all daily paperwork
Weekly Tasks
- General vehicle cleaning
Annual Tasks
- Complete WebEd courses and other required education
- Complete annual education for RMW transport
Requirements
- Must have valid Ohio driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the hospital's liability insurance carrier.
- Completes the necessary training and education required to transport medical waste and specimens.
