Summary
Lidl US is searching for an Executive Chauffeur to join our team. The Executive Chauffer is the primary driver for Executives and other authorized passengers. This role also ensures proper maintenance of executive and Lidl US fleet vehicles.
** This position reports to our headquarters in Arlington, VA **
What You’ll Do
- Transport authorized passengers safely while remaining calm in emergency situations and ensure the safety of all passengers and team members
- Carry out vehicle maintenance and cleaning to ensure vehicles are always ready to be driven
- Perform administrative duties on request of and in consultation with procurement team
- Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate professional demeanor/appearance
- Accommodate flexible scheduling needs including some weekends as start and end times may vary daily
- Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
What You’ll Need
- Ability to navigate the service area using maps and/or on-board directional equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to work independently
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Physical Job Requirements
- Prolonged periods driving vehicles
- Occasionally work weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Travel Requirements
- This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers up to 75% of the time
- This position requires overnight domestic travel up to 50% of the time
