What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Espresso Technician position at Liemco, Ltd.?
Liemco is looking to hire the right candidate to join our growing team of top Espresso machine technicians. We are one of the largest espresso repair and sales organizations in the Northeast, working on some of the best and most respected brands in the industry.
The right candidate will have experience working with Espresso and/or coffee equipment. We will train the right candidate.
This is a full time position and requires you to work occasional paid overtime and to be "on call" occasional weekends , also paid. You will be servicing equipment at both our customers locations across the Tri-State area and within our shop. A company vehicle will be provided that you can also take home with you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair conventional espresso machines (La Marzocco, ModBar, Marco), ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service during service calls, addressing client concerns and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and service history for each machine.
- Collaborate with delivery drivers to ensure timely and safe transport of equipment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in coffee equipment technology.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial espresso/coffee repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Previous experience as a service technician or in field service roles
- Customer service skills and experience in delivery driving
- Familiarity with conventional espresso equipment (La Marzocco, ModBar, Marco)
- Proficient in equipment repair and electrical systems
- Coffee industry experience is highly desirable

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,600.00 per week
