Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day warehouse functions, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and proper stock organization. You will help monitor inventory, assist with shipments, and communicate effectively with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in assigning appropriate storage locations for items, ensuring efficient inventory management both physically and in the system.
- Support shipping and receiving functions, including handling shipping paperwork as needed.
- Coordinate with the order desk to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
- Prioritize shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate with freight companies to make arrangements.
Job Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills; experience with SAP is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items as required.
