About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral, working in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP) and be ASHA certified (CCCs) or eligible for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software.
You will be responsible for implementing and interpreting programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary and/or confidential information, and demonstrating integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training.
The successful candidate will be able to oversee and evaluate care given by SLP CFYs and follow speech therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising SLP CCC.
