Job Summary
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Life Care Center of Cheyenne, you will be responsible for providing direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral. You will work in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
We are seeking an experienced SLP who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP) and be ASHA certified (CCCs) or eligible for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email software. You will also need to be knowledgeable of practices and procedures governing functions in post-acute care facilities, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary and/or confidential information.
The successful candidate will demonstrate integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training. They will also be able to oversee and evaluate care given by SLP CFYs and follow speech therapy treatment plans for patients under direction of the supervising SLP CCC.
