The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct patient care in speech therapy, adhering to applicable laws and regulations. A graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy, the ideal candidate must be certified by ASHA or eligible for a 9-month Clinical Fellowship Year. Responsibilities include participating in community health matters, being proficient in Microsoft Office, and maintaining confidentiality.
Key qualifications include knowledge of post-acute care facility practices and procedures, as well as Federal and State guidelines governing functions.
