Language Care Professional
Life Care Center of Winter Haven is seeking a dedicated Language Care Professional to provide high-quality rehabilitation care to patients. As a Language Care Professional, you will work closely with patients, families, and support departments to develop personalized plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient language skills and develop tailored interventions.
- Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient language abilities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Essential Functions
- Establish clear and measurable goals for patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (MS or MA SLP).
- ASHA certified (CCCs) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Currently registered/licensed in the state.
- CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience in post-acute care or related setting.
Working Conditions
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English language.
