Position : Part-Time every other weekend Sat / Sun 9 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m .

Location : Galleria Woods, Hoover, Alabama

Pay Rate : $14-18 per hour (based on experience)

Galleria Woods, a premier lifecare retirement community, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Activity Assistant to join our vibrant team. Our beautiful community offers numerous fun areas for activities, ensuring an engaging environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan and implement a variety of activities including events, games, concerts, field trips, arts & crafts, bingo, exercise classes, and holiday decorations.
  • Create activity flyers, calendars, and other printed materials using computer skills.
  • Engage with senior adults, bringing energy and creativity to every interaction.

    • Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 years of experience in activities, social, or recreational healthcare settings.
  • Background in music, art, or drama is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with seniors.
