The Bayshore on HHI is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for ensuring housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community, and has the overall responsibility of ensuring a safe and clean environment at the community. Annual Salary of $55k, We prefer either a 8a-5p, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday work schedule to best meet the needs of our retirement community. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Director of Housekeeping : Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization. Oversee all housekeeping staff, managing your team's schedule, cleaning of units, ordering of supplies, completing work orders, and addressing any issues or concerns with residents or family members Participate in all community special events, staff meetings, and responsible for performance management of your department Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Two years experience in housekeeping or janitorial position, Director or Assistant Director Level experience in required fluency of written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English is highly preferredMany roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
