Title : Groundskeeper

Status : Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Hours : 37.5 Hours / Week

Work Shift : Monday - Friday; 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Rate of Pay : $17-19 per hour

Sedgebrook is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Groundskeeper to join our team! This position is responsible for the overall grounds maintenance of the Campus.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician :

  • Assists in all operations of the Grounds Department including maintaining of all lawns, trees, gardens, shrubbery, plants, ponds, and fountains.
  • Maintain cleanliness of parking areas and garages.
  • Installs and maintains exterior signs.
  • Maintains boundary fencing.
  • Assist residents with patio gardening and cleaning.
  • Cleans all exterior windows and doors.
  • Removes snow and ice from roads and walks.
  • Cares for interior foliage plants.
  • Removes exterior trash and dog waste from exterior receptacles and inside the garage entrances.
  • Replaces exterior and interior parking deck lights.
  • Maintains irrigation systems.
  • Assists with any outside projects or events.
  • Assists the the Maintenance team with inside work orders, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

    • Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Ability to use and maintain all associated equipment and machinery.
  • Previous grounds maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with residents.
