Clarendale of Chandle r is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Manager to join our team! is responsible for the care and cleaning of all aspects of the physical plant : controlling the quality and timeliness of all work originating in the Environmental Services department; hiring, training and supervising all housekeeping and laundry personnel; procuring of supplies, chemicals and equipment; assisting with budget preparation and operating within budgetary guidelines.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper :
Essential Job Duties :
- Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms / kitchens and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
- Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas.
- Supervises the performance of all housekeeping / laundry personnel through personal inspections and other quality control techniques.
- Selects, trains, evaluates and disciplines all housekeeping / laundry personnel.
- Keeps required records, reports, studies.
- Conducts inventories of all housekeeping supplies, and places monthly orders for all housekeeping supplies.
- Inspects all housekeeping and laundry equipment regularly for proper functioning and safety.
- Coordinates the scheduling of all apartment cleaning and special cleaning projects.
- Coordinates apartment refurbishing with the Plant Services Director.
- Coordinates department functions with those of other departments.
