The Virginian is searching for a Full-Time RN Supervisor for the Weekends. This role will be on a 8-hour schedule (Saturday and Sunday).The ideal candidate must be a good communicator, high organizational skills, knowledgeable of Microsoft Office / Point Click Care, and exceptional time management skills. Current or previous experience in a Skilled Nursing unit strongly preferred. We are seeking a Passionate and Strong RN leader to assist with oversight of our Health Care Center department.
Qualifications : Licensed RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Experience / knowledge in LTC / MC / AL; current clinical knowledge and experience with the senior population. Ability to collaborate and motivate other healthcare providers; strong / effective problem-solving skills. Display enthusiasm, leadership ability and tact. Strong computer skills, proficient with Electronic Health Record.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN :
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family / social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
- Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and reassessment of each resident.
- Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
- Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
- Oversee and manage the Health Care Center department's clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Assist with Coordination of Staff schedules and Staff assignment
- Prepare for and Assist with New Admissions of Residents
- Serve as the backup for Prospective Residents who show interest in Marketing inquiries of the Health Care Center.
- Respond to any and all Resident, Resident Family, and Guest needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with Virginian Leadership to ensure smooth operations during each shift.
- Willingness to be available for any / all emergencies regarding the community.

Compensation Range : $45.00 to $55.00 with great benefits!
Current RN staff ratio : 1 : 12
Schedule : 7AM-3 PM (Saturday and Sunday)
