You will enjoy :
30.00 - $33.00 per hour based on experience
Monday - Friday FT Hours (9am-5pm)

What you will do...
Maintain an accurate audit trail for billing, invoices, credits, and adjustments.
Complete monthly Accounts Receivable billing within the first week of the month.
Balances resident accounts, provides statements, handles collections, posts cash receipts, and reconciles monthly transactions with the general ledger.
Serves as the Accounts Receivable contact for residents, families, and departments, addressing billing inquiries and resolving sensitive issues.
Updates census and service data for statistical reports.
Reconciles balance sheet and bank accounts monthly.
Prepares and analyzes journal entries, schedules, and financial statements.
Explains the move-out process, apartment resale, and entrance fee refunds to families; assists with quarterly resale letters.
Supports special projects like budgeting, audits, and compliance testing as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Who you are...
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; degree may be substituted with additional years of accounting experience.
A minimum of three (3) years of staff accounting experience financial reporting analysis required.
Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
Knowledge of regulatory bodies relating to payroll, taxes and general business financial conditions.
Skill in analyzing and interpreting data.
Skill in problem solving, detail orientation, and multitasking.
Ability to learn and use the Account Payable System, Oracle.
Ability to function independently and in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
Ability to assess resident or other complaints, and resolve disputes in a friendly, professional manner.
