Summary/Objective
The LCKids Special Needs Coordinator works closely with the LCKids Pastor to provide care and support for families with children who have special needs in attending Life Center. The coordinator will schedule serve team members to serve in the classroom and communicate with families on how to best care for children and their specific needs. This position must be held by a person with upstanding Christian character and passion for children’s ministry. The person filling this position must also affirm Life Center’s mission statement and values.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role does not have a supervisory component.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with LCKids Pastor – K-5th Grade.
- Supports in developing ministry curriculum.
- Provides logistical support of children’s programs.
- Facilitates recruitment of serve team members.
- Communicates with team members regarding schedules and assignments.
- Assists in training staff and volunteers as needed.
- Provides administrative support which may include general organization and communication tasks.
- Other reasonable duties as requested and assigned.
