Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant for a specialty client ( in person-residential care.) W-9- 1099 Contractor. The candidate will provide exceptional care to our patients, supporting them in their daily lives and helping them achieve their healthcare goals. This is a rewarding role that requires dedication, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as toileting, mobility, and feeding.
- Help patients with medication management, including administering medications as needed.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including wheelchair transfers and ambulation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines (preferred)
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that patient care is aligned with their treatment plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to medical staff.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Assist with inpatient and outpatient care, including hospital and clinic settings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- 5-10 years of experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role.
- CPR Certification is preferred

- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols.
