CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR
General Description:
The LIFE CHOICES Rowan Director will take charge of the management, implementation, and evaluation of organization programs. This job position involves recommending and monitoring the performance of existing programs, assisting in developing new ones, and supervising and supporting staff and volunteer members in their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing programs timely and efficiently, with a strong affinity for communicating effectively with relevant personnel, both internal and external, as required. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills are highly desired. This is a full-time position according to a regular schedule established by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum two years’ experience in program coordinating, administration, program management, or a related field.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong skills in mentoring and leadership.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent administrative and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Essential Functions:
- Make prayer an integral part of day-to-day operations.
- Supervise the organization's daily program operations. Work with the Nurse Manager to manage client services, including medical services.
- Schedule, assign tasks, and supervise supporting staff and volunteers.
- Ensure that there are trained volunteers to provide services to clients.
- Conduct orientation, training, and evaluation for receptionist, program assistant, and in-house volunteers.
- Oversee record keeping and effective follow-up of clients by volunteers.
- Interact with the Executive Director to relate client or volunteer needs, progress of client services, problems, goal setting, and implementation.
- Determine program objectives with respect to organizational goals.
- Developing strategies and plans to achieve objectives.
- Formulate and revise operational policies and procedures necessary for consistent operation, with appropriate approvals. Ensure that policies and procedures are documented and maintained.
- Maintain statistical information. Compile monthly and annual client and center statistics. Analyze trends.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide disciplinary recommendations where needed.
- Provide peer counseling and services for clients when volunteers are not available.
- Assist with maintaining a working relationship with health and human services agencies, physicians, churches, and organizations that refer clients or accept referrals from the organization.
- Conduct formal presentations regarding the organization and related issues as the Executive Director assigns.
- Attend significant fundraising events and be available to help as directed by the Executive Director, which may include evening/weekend hours.
