At Life Counseling Center we are dedicated to serving children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in our community by providing them exceptional care and outstanding support. Life Counseling Center provides behavioral health wrap-around services such as counseling, case management services, community-based rehabilitation, therapeutic behavior services and developmental disability services.
We are looking for energetic, dependable, and client-care minded individuals to join our excellent team. A professional, warm, patient, and outgoing demeanor is a must since you will be interacting with our clients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess excellent social skills, communication skills (i.e. face to face, verbal and written communication), tactfulness, take initiative, strong organization skills and be detail oriented.
The Mental Health Counselor is an employee position and provides counseling services to clients at Life Counseling Center. They often function independently, but must also need to successfully work within a team environment. Counselors have the opportunity to work with wide variety of clients; including children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a positive and supportive team.
We are looking for LPCs, LCPCs, LMSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, LAMFTS, or CPs who are already licensed in Idaho or are eligible for licensure in Idaho. Professional supervision will be provided by highly trained supervisors at no cost to clinicians.
Additionally, Life Counseling Center is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site and participates in the School Loan Repayment Program. This is a program that pays off your school loans (both undergraduate and graduate) in lieu for providing mental health services to underserved communities.
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a Masters degree or higher in counseling, social work or psychology
- Must be a LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LCPC or CP or eligible for licensure in Idaho
- Pass a criminal background check through the Department of Health and Welfare
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
