A Dispatcher ensures that everything runs smoothly by coordinating with customers, providing precise logistics for drivers to follow along on their routes, and coordinating delivery times. Dispatchers are the point of contact for drivers and have all the information needed to make deliveries.

Responsibilities :

Receive and process customer orders for transportation services.
Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities.
Notify clients for potential late deliveries.
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during transportation activities.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
Cover routes as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Schedule : Monday to Friday from 11am-8pm.

Pay Range : $55K-$60K

Requirements : Skills Required :

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition.

Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and personnel.

Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties.

Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time.

Able to work under stress in a fast paced work environment.

Travel & Work Conditions :

Primarily sedentary.

Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Exposure to weather elements when outside or driving.

Education and Experience :

At least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or higher required.

2 years of experience in an administrative role required.

2 years of customer service experience required.

Has a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the previous 3 years.

Work Authorization :

Must be authorized to work in the United States without any type of work authorization or work sponsorship now or in the future.
