Life Cycle Engineering is seeking an individual with financial analysis and contract management experience you will use your people skills, organizational skills, and sound financial acumen to support various U.S. Navy programs and projects.
You will work in the Office of the Business Director, with the Financial Analyst team, sharing common work processes and practices, and be assigned to a program to support day to day business and financial operations. Once assigned to a program, you will work with the program manager, providing financial support in the areas of budgeting, funds acceptance, expenditure tracking, and reporting to ensure that funded programs are delivered on-time, on-budget, and maximizes profit based on contract specification.

You will work in the Office of the Business Director, with the Financial Analyst team, sharing common work processes and practices, and be assigned to a program to support day to day business and financial operations. Once assigned to a program, you will work with the program manager, providing financial support in the areas of budgeting, funds acceptance, expenditure tracking, and reporting to ensure that funded programs are delivered on-time, on-budget, and maximizes profit based on contract specification.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining program/project financial databases
- Working with program managers to accurately report on financials and develop forecasting and execution of funds received
- Assist in planning, developing, and updating presentations/reports & facilitating meetings
- Provide financial and budgeting support; as well as develop Earned Value analysis and metrics.
- Use of modern computational tools to support analysis of above efforts
- Assist in managing program funding from several sponsors
- Collect, track, monitor, and report on program expenditures (labor, OT, travel, etc.)
- Create metrics to identify spending trends in order to proactively manage funding
- Track contract and material expenditures in accordance with program schedules
- Assist technical leads with meeting preparation and scheduling
- Create task/financial tracking tools to support the Program Manager
- Must be located in Philadelphia Metro Area
- Must be a US citizen with a current active DoD security clearance or be able to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience related to finance (Experience with DoD preferred)
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel (Financial and Logical formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
- Superior verbal, grammatical, and written communication skills
- Ability to :
- work effectively with and learn from engineering technical staff
- multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
- handle a high volume of work with accuracy and efficiency
- have strong attention to detail
- Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 15 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
- Ability to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance
- Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR
