What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Life Enriching Communities?
Shifts Available : Part-Time : 15 – 20 weekly, Tuesday Wednesday, and Thursday between 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm (hours may vary depending upon needs of residents). What is Your Role? The Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for residents to events, appointments, or to special programs. This position is designed to enhance the lives and nurture the growth of older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner. Position Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possess current valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Eligible to drive under LEC’s insurance carrier. (Drivers must supply Motor Vehicle Report before employment and upon request by LEC after hire.)
- A minimum of three (3) years related experience in transportation, preferably in a continuing care retirement community, hospital, hotel or similar facility.
- Transportation of residents to appointments
- Personal errands and home services such as shopping, walking dogs, cat care, laundry, etc.
- Able to regularly pull / push residents in wheelchairs that may / will exceed 100 lbs. regularly.
- Must have active and valid state issued driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be able to be covered by our company insurance
