What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehab Tech - Full Time position at Life Enriching Communities?
Rehab Tech - Full Time The Rehab Tech assists to make therapy sessions productive under the supervision of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, keeps the therapy treatment area clean and organized, and performs administrative duties that facilitate the efficient functioning of the therapy department. This position requires strong organizational skills and a high level of customer service orientation. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Provide assistance where needed in the rehabilitation department.
File, scan and copy documentation for the Therapy and Nursing Departments as needed.
Maintain forms and supplies needed within the department.
Assist with patient transportation.

Required Education and Experience
Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience : 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Hearing : Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the phone.
Speaking : Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the phone.
Vision : Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of patient and reading information from printed sources and computer screens
Other : Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds of medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and / or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements. Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching.
