General Description : The intern supports projects for the Web Development Specialist and QA Analyst, and other Digital Marketing teams. These projects include performing web content audits, content formatting with HTML, updating our Content Management System (CMS), and image formatting / posting. This opportunity provides a unique, “behind-the-scenes” view of Digital Marketing, including creating / editing web pages, implementing SEO best practices, and learning personalization techniques.
Core Duties and Responsibilities :
- Format and upload content to our web site (HTML); focus areas include Protocols, Magazine articles, Health News, What’s Hot, Wellness Blog, and Product Details.
- Assist QA Analyst with various audits and updates such as third-party product descriptions and images, site-wide content audits, complaint logs analysis.
- Supply necessary meta data to images in specific content areas, using provided guidelines.
- Apply metadata from SEO team to content items in our CMS.
- Assess specific areas of the website and determine opportunities for improvement or enhancement.
- Component implementation review : Evaluate competitor web sites focusing on one component at a time; Assess opportunities for testing or improvement.
- Two on-site days per week are required of this position.
- Additional duties as assigned.
