What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Copywriter position at Life Extension?
The Junior Copywriter helps bring our brand voice to life through engaging and clear content that fosters connections with customers at all stages of the sales cycle. This role creates copy for both digital and offline channels, while learning to evaluate how well their work connects with customers. This position has a focus on crafting the benefits of vitamins, supplements and alternative medicine, into easy-to-understand, engaging language.
Core Duties and Responsibilities :
- Writes engaging copy for Direct Mail, Print, Collateral, Web, Email, Social Media, and SEO that tells a story, and encourages our customers to buy
- Assists with editing product descriptions, landing pages, FAQs, and other content for our website, ensuring everything is clear and error-free
- Learns to analyze how copy affects sales and suggest changes to improve results
- Follows trends in content marketing and consumer behavior, as well as competitors’ output, and recommends new strategies to ensure we are following best practices
- Creates online-offline synergies by aligning concept, copy, and brand voice across all channels
- Works closely with Design staff, Marketing Project Managers, Digital team, Product Development, Magazine, Legal and other business units as part of the information gathering and approval process
- Helps to translate marketing strategies into compelling copy that speaks to different customer groups while maintaining our brand voice
- Produces a large, diverse volume of work within deadline, without sacrificing quality, creativity, or consistency
- 40% onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
