What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA/QC Document Coordinator position at Life Extension?
This position serves as the department research and technical service coordinator, supporting daily operational functions for quality to include supporting customer product concerns and process improvements. Serves as liaison with contract manufacturers for technical information requests, researches and supports foreign product registration needs and reviews internal QA documents for consistency and accuracy.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists QA members with various tasks involving RFQ, PCFs, manufacturing specifications, technical data document collection, deviations and filing for all products under wholesaler.
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation where applicable
- Reviews labels, finished product, specifications, and manufacturing specifications for ingredient accuracy for applicable wholesaler’s new and current items.
- Creates and manages Finished Product Specification packets, and destruction requests for warehouse operations.
- Assists Quality Management in providing technical and research support for Global Regulations.
- Reviews and maintains all formula data in product database (PIC).
- Maintains all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists with data entry to PIC, WERCS, and all other domestic wholesaler projects as needed.
- Provides support in the review and approval of written official materials and technical documents such as QQ , CoAs and statements.
- 2 onsite days per week is an essential function of this position.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science related field; 2 years of dietary supplement experience or equivalent
- Ability to interact with associates on all levels and communicate effectively across several functional areas
- Strong organization skills. Attention to detail and data orientated.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to translate highly technical information so it is understandable for the target audience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
