What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Warehouse Supervisor position at Life Extension?
This position oversees all aspects of quality and compliance in the Northeast Fulfillment Center as well as overseeing quality-related issues with Life Extension’s contract manufacturers, packagers and service providers.
Core Duties and Responsibilities :
- Serves as site authority on all product disposition decisions
- Participates in customer complaint and investigation process as per 21 CFR 111 Subpart O
- Maintains returned dietary supplements in accordance with 21 CFR 111 Subpart N
- Maintains the LE distribution center in accordance with 21 CFR 111 and in a state of cGMP audit-readiness at all times
- Assists in the preparation and execution of all of site audits, including internal audits and third party audits such as NSF and FDA
- Implements and monitors cGMP regulations and drives Continuous Improvement initiatives in the distribution center
- Implements and continues to upkeep documentation per Quality Assurance procedures
- Oversees the Inspection of incoming materials; responsible for the potential rejection and return of unacceptable materials
- Communicates with contract manufacturers to address quality related issues
- Assists with cGMP training and adherence to cGMP compliance
- Seamlessly communicates effectively across several different functional areas including Purchasing, Technical Services and Product Development
- Serves as site Sanitation Supervisor, documenting and enforcing sanitation / maintenance programs in the Distribution Center
- Supervises and develops direct reports
- Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
