Job Summary:
The chiropractic assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of the chiropractic office. This position involves a combination of administrative and patient care responsibilities, ensuring a positive experience for patients and maintaining the office's overall functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
- Greet patients and assist with their check-in and check-out procedures.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for chiropractic treatment.
- Educate patients on chiropractic procedures and answer their questions.
- Assist the chiropractor during patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records accurately.
2. Administrative Duties:
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients and other parties.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure patient information is up-to-date and confidential.
- Manage appointment scheduling and reminders.
- Verify insurance coverage and process billing and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area and treatment rooms.
3. Office Operations:
- Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the office website and social media profiles.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and events as necessary.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle any other administrative tasks as assigned by the chiropractor or office manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certifications).
- Knowledge of chiropractic care and terminology (preferred but not always required).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software, EHR systems, and basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a passion for providing excellent patient care.
Working Conditions:
- The role may require standing, sitting, or moving for extended periods.

Additional Benefits:
- Positions starts out $19 an hour and is eligible for a raise after 6 months
