Position Title: Direct Support Professional Contract Services Female Staff Required
Shifts: 8:00AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Thursday
** Hours may vary due to consumer having Dr. Appointments Must have reliable transportation Must have valid drivers license and insurance
Compensation: $17.50/ hour

Responsibilities
- Transport the client to and from the day program.
- Assist client according to his/her Person-Centered Plan.
- Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.
- Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (Clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).
- Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.
- Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.
- Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipment.
- Implement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.
- Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.
- Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate client’s information as directed by supervisory staff.
- Assist and monitor clients during community outings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Must have own reliable transportation and insurance with proof.
- Needs to be a Female because this is for a female consumer
- NC Driver's License
- 21 years of age or older
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others, be self-motivated.
- Display strong oral and written communication skills.
- Possess problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be reached by phone.
