Position: Billing and Reimbursement Specialist
Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Job Duties:
- Maintain patient daily census and service authorizations.
- Input service data into the billing system.
- Create invoices for patient liability processing.
- Process claims weekly, post payments, and resolve denial issues.
- Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided.
- Maintain accounts receivable aging.
- Report on billing activity, paid claims and accounts receivable
- Stay current with NC Medicaid regulations, Medicaid transformation and MCO requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical billing
- Proficient in electronic medical records
- Effective computer skills using billing software, Excel, and accounting software.
- Understanding of HIPAA and regulations for healthcare
- Effective communication skills
- Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- In depth knowledge of billing best practices
- Organization, time management and prioritization abilities
- Collaborate well with others.
