In Newport, NC, we are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with others and providing support in various aspects of daily life.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with self-care activities such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Monitor clients during meals to ensure the use of family-style dining.
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and organized living environment, including clothing care, house cleaning, and yard maintenance.
- Assist clients in meal preparation and nutritional supplement administration.
- Administer prescribed medication accurately and safely.
- Implement and follow established behavior programs, data collection, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with clients to achieve active treatment goals, including training objective plans and service goal implementation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid NC Driver's License required.
- 21 years of age or older required.
