Job Overview:
Join the Life Line Emergency Vehicles team as an integral member of the Interior Finish Department, where you'll be hands-on in crafting and installing countertops to help build our high-quality emergency vehicles. Your role goes beyond just countertops— you'll also assist with the installation of cot mounts, cabinets, and ceilings, ensuring each vehicle meets our exacting standards. Collaboration is key in this position, as you’ll work closely with other departments to meet production schedules while maintaining the highest quality. With frequent interaction with both internal teams and external partners, your contributions will play a vital part in the success of Life Line Emergency Vehicles and the delivery of top-tier emergency vehicles to those who rely on them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate or learn to operate tools and equipment such as shears, metal brakes, table saws, miter saws, die grinders, files, sanders, and sanding blocks.
- Utilize mechanical skills, including power and air tools, to perform tasks effectively.
- Apply carpentry skills and processes to production tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate execution.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Apply quality assurance techniques and contribute to cost-reduction goals.
- Collaborate with the engineering and parts departments to support production needs.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Assist and train other production personnel as required.
- Uphold all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:
- Prior experience with mechanical tools and saws preferred.
- Familiarity with Life Line products and processes is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma, technical degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, grip, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, and carry.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to use senses of sight, touch, sound, and smell.

Work Environment:
- Indoor work environment with occasional exposure to outdoor elements.

Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Flexibility required for occasional earlier start times or later finish times.
