Respiratory Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Growing Durable Medical Equipment company seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapy Assistant in our Jacksonville, FL location.

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

• Make equipment patient ready
• Update patient’s electronic accounts
• Maintain and inventory equipment and supplies
• Complete deliveries and pickups of equipment and supplies
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the location
  
  

Employees in this position will receive on the job training, and will be required to utilize education and support to provide care and services to patients as well as their caregivers to ease the transition from hospital to home care. Requirements to apply:

• Must have a valid Florida Drivers license
• Passion for educating patients and their caregivers on provided equipment and supplies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to comprehend and follow policy and procedure
• Professionalism in communication with clinicians and patients
• Frequent lifting of 50 lbs
