We are seeking skilled Phlebotomists to join our community healthcare team at Life Line Screening. Our company provides preventive healthcare services to millions of patients annually, working with leading pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient records for accuracy and completeness.
- Label and identify samples accurately.
- Set up equipment and supplies for venipuncture procedures.
- Perform venipuncture and finger-sticks.
- Centrifuge blood samples as per clinical protocol.
- Monitor patients for reactions and ensure sample quality.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and comfort while meeting customer service expectations.
- Oversee equipment sanitation and cleaning between patients.
- Utilize personal protective equipment to ensure coworker and patient safety.
- Label transfer tubes and follow handling and storage directions.
- Package and ship specimens to the central lab daily.
The ideal candidate has 1 year of hands-on venipuncture experience in a high-volume setting. We also require precision phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and organization. Additionally, we need candidates who can provide exceptional customer service, work well in a team, and be willing to cross-train and perform additional tasks.
