Position Highlights:
- Provides leadership to other members of the patient care team
- Communicates effectively with team members, medical control and other health care staff involved in patient care
- Demonstrates the ability to assess, plan care, intervene and evaluate outcomes
- Safely and effectively transports critically ill and/or injured patient(s)
- Implements Life Link III medical protocols when appropriate for patient(s)
- Able to assess, manage and implement care to critically ill patients
- Understands pharmacological interactions
- Provides guidance to specialty teams to maintain a safe transport environment
- Maintains education requirements required to maintain license and/or certifications
- Maintains a safe work environment
- Participates in duties to assure the base remains a clean environment
- Practices positive and supportive interpersonal communications skills to support the mission and values of Life Link III
- Maintains strong working relationships with member hospitals and their representatives, supervisors and managers and Life Link III employees
What We Are Looking For:
- Current MN Paramedic Certification , North Dakota, and WI EMT-Paramedic Licensure with Critical Care endorsement. Certification and Licensure required at time of hire, ((critical care endorsement may be obtained after hire)
- Current Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NRP, NIMS 100, 200, 700.
- NRP may be completed during orientation.
- 3 yrs. (4000 hours) of ALS experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass mandatory post-offer drug/isokinetic and background screening tests
- Clinician must weigh 230 pounds or less (including uniform & boots)
