We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Take and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of residents.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to the menu, dietary requirements and resident preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life.
- Ensure a safe living environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Support residents by promoting independence, safety and life skills as well as assisting residents with finding their next adventures in life.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to the appropriate personnel/care providers.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to maintain skills and knowledge relevant to caregiving.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, home health, or patient care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is a plus.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.
- Ability to pass a background check.
