Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and other critical care medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and assisting patients with their medication needs.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology and pharmacy regulations to uphold safety standards.
- Support the pharmacy team in daily operations, including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care within acute care settings.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices and patient care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or healthcare environment is preferred but not mandatory.
