Life Ride, a leading medical transportation company, is seeking compassionate and skilled Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operators (MAVOs) to provide safe and exceptional transportation services to passengers with disabilities or mobility issues.

Job Summary
As a MAVO, you'll be responsible for:
- Safely transporting passengers with disabilities or mobility issues using specialized vehicles
- Assisting passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles
- Ensuring passengers are securely seated and restrained
- Operating mobility assistance vehicles efficiently and safely
- Providing excellent customer service and support
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing basic maintenance checks
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- MAVO certification (training provided by Life Ride if needed)
- CPR certification (training provided by Life Ride if needed)
- O2 certification (training provided by Life Ride if needed)
- Clean Driver License in NJ, PA, or NY (less than 2 at-fault accidents or moving violations in the last 5 years)
- Defensive Driving Certificate (training paid for and provided by Life Ride if needed)
Physical ability to
- Secure up to two wheelchairs in the vehicle at least 10 times a day (bending and strapping the wheelchair frame)
- Ability to drive safely and alert for at least 12 hours per day
- Push a wheelchair with a patient weighing 250lb for at least 1 long city block at least 5 times a day
